The academic block has adequate number of lecture theatres, a
hall, rooms and galleries, laboratories, for teaching / learning activities and separate
common rooms for teachers, men and women students. There are 133 numbers of the teaching
staff in different subjects under the faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce. All these
teachers have good academic career and many of them possess brilliant academic records. As
this college is one of the premier institutions of the State, an appreciable number of
senior teachers of the state having long teaching experience have been posted here. In
every faculty, members of the staff are engaged in active research work and some of them
have published research papers and text books. A good number of teachers have obtained
research degrees like M. Phil., Ph. D. etc. Academic result of this college is highly
appreciable and it maintains all kind of formalities required to achieve this. There is a
particular department constituting of some administrative and clerical staff members in
this college to keep the track record of the academic activities.
